This is the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max with an improved remote, more storage, better Wi-Fi, and more

Today, Amazon is hosting a major hardware event, but according to… AFTV News on XWe’ve already gotten our first look at this Fire TV. The new Fire TV Max 4K is a big step forward over the old model.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K Max is said to have 16GB of storage, WiFi 6E, and a 2GHz quad-core processor. The biggest improvement anyone will notice is that the remote is the same as the one Fire TV Cube Shows, with controls optimized for your TV and Fire TV. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max costs $59.99 and will be available for pre-order today.

There will also be new Fire TV Ambient experiences that will turn your TV into a work of art when you’re not using it. You can also place widgets on the screen to display the weather and other features on your TV. This feature was already present on Fire TV smart TVs, but now it’s coming to the Fire TV Stick 4K Max.

Later this year, your Fire TV on select devices will turn your family photos into a work of art on your TV.

That’s double the storage space of the old Fire TV Stick 4K Max, ranging from 8GB of storage to 16GB of storage. The processor is also a big jump from the old 1.8 GHz quad-core processor to the new 2 GHz processor. WiFi is also a great jump from WiFi 6 to the newer WiFi 6E standard. Amazon clearly wants to make sure the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is one of the fastest streaming devices on the market.

For more details, we’ll need to wait until Amazon officially announces the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and other devices today during its event at 11 a.m. ET. Amazon is also expected to announce a second Fire TV device, likely a new Fire TV Stick 4K.

The new Fire TV devices will also be able to take advantage of the newly improved Alexa AI. This will also include a more natural way to find shows on Fire TV. Now you’ll be able to say things like show free action movies that I haven’t seen before. This new feature will be rolling out to Fire TV later this year.

Amazon also announced a newly improved Watch row on the home screen to show you everything you’ve been watching across several major streaming services.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K will be 30% more powerful with WiFi 6 support for faster streaming. It will cost $49.99 and is available for pre-order today. The cheaper Fire TV will come with a standard remote.
