UpdateMedia mogul and former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, who died on June 12 at the age of 86, bequeathed 100 million euros to his last girlfriend, Marta Pacina, 33, according to his will on Thursday.
Marta Pacina, whom Berlusconi called “my wife” even though they were not married, is also a member of the Forza Italia party founded by the billionaire. The family’s net profit fell 44% last year to 200.2 million euros, while its revenue was almost flat at 3.82 billion euros. Berlusconi, who dominated Italian political life for decades, was accompanied by a handwritten note for his children in his will: “Thank you, much love to you all, your father”.
100 million euros were given to his brother Paolo
Mr. Berlusconi, the origins of the fortune remain a mystery, and gave 100 million euros to his brother Paolo, as well as 30 million euros to his close friend and partner Marcello del Utri, co-founder of Forza Italia, during his tenure.
