47.6-metre Baglietto T-line hull # 2 in-build
New images of superyacht Project 10228 by the Italian yard Baglietto has been released. Last summer, the steel hull was joined to the aluminium superstructure and the engines were installed at La Spezia facility of Baglietto. The yacht is structurally complete and ready to be painted and is planned to be launched in July.
This 47.6-metre displacement yacht will be the sistership to Andiamo, which was launched last year for a Mexican owner. Built to LR standards, Baglietto 10228 features in-house naval architecture, a 9.5 metre beam and a total interior volume of less than 500GT. Styled inside and out by Francesco Paszkowski Design, with reverse-angle glazing in the superyacht wheelhouse, it provides superior views from the helm station.
Project 10228 will fit a side-loading superyacht tender garage, leaving the transom free for a proper beach club area, complete with gym and hammam. Meanwhile, the superyacht sundeck stretches across 140 square metres of deck space and boasts a spa pool, sunloungers and an al fresco dining table.
In total, Project 10228 will feature 350 square metres of luxury living spaces. Accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins, including a master suite, 2 doubles and 2 twin rooms with pullman berths, and the decor is described as "classic and elegant".
Power will come from a pair of Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines for a top speed of 16 knots. When cruising at 12 knots, Project 10228 will boast a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles, thanks to a total fuel capacity of 80,000 litres.
Other projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the recently sold 54 metre Baglietto 10231, which is due to hit the water in 2020.
