Will Giants play tonight against the Pistons?

He plays

DetroitThe Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a rare loss in Denver and take on the Detroit Pistons Monday night at Little Caesars Arena, but they will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Gro Holiday.

The Monday afternoon recess was ruled out for personal reasons.

Antetokounmpo went on injury report with a sore right knee Sunday after back-to-back games in Utah and Denver. After he was initially considered likely to play against the Pistons, he was ruled out of the game later in the afternoon. This is the first time that Antetokounmpo has reported pain in the right knee since March 6.

The Bucks entered the evening with the best record in the league at 53-21, two games before the Boston Celtics for the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons are 16-58 worst in the league.

Goran Dragic (left knee sore) is a possibility and could make his debut on the pitch. The Bucks added the veteran point guard in early March.

What’s the Bucks’ record without Giannis?

Antetokounmpo will miss his 16th game of the season, and his first since March 11. The Bucks are 9-6 when not playing.
