United States: Flights are temporarily suspended across the region

The US civil aviation regulator is facing a major outage, the cause of which is unknown.

LThe United States Aviation Agency (FAA) on Wednesday ordered the suspension of all domestic flight departures in the United States until 3 pm (Brussels time) to repair the failure affecting its systems, at- he said in a statement. The FAA had previously announced that it was trying to recover from an outage in the information system for pilots and crew that disrupted air travel in the United States.

For its part, the White House indicated that Wednesday’s grounding of flights in the US by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was “no indication at this time” that it was related to the cyber attack.
