Travis Kelce had advice for any fans who want to dress up as him and Taylor Swift for Halloween – and the main point of advice for guys is to make sure they have a mustache.
The Kansas City Chiefs star was speaking to the media on Friday ahead of his team’s upcoming game against the Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
But he had a lighter moment when asked about fans dressing like him and his pop star girlfriend for the upcoming celebrations.
“The mustache is slowly starting to go away, but I’m telling you, man, that mustache and the ’87 jersey were pretty iconic,” Kelce said with a smile.
I got it when I first met Taylor. So I think, “My stash and then maybe a bracelet or something, I don’t know.”
His comment on the bracelet indicated that he tried to give one to Swift after his show at Arrowhead Stadium earlier this year, with his phone number, but was unable to meet her after the show.
But things have changed significantly since then — he and Swift are now an item and spent last weekend together in New York.
The couple even made a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live, something Kelsey also discussed on Friday.
“They asked me if I wanted to end the skit that was about me and Taylor taking over NFL games which was funny. I loved every bit of it,” he explained.
Swift has started in three of Kelce’s last four games for the Chiefs and the team is currently on a five-game winning streak heading into Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
It is not yet known whether she will return to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, but she only has this weekend and next weekend to see him play before the Eras tour resumes in Argentina on November 9.
Next week, the Chiefs will be in Denver to play the Broncos before heading to Germany for their Nov. 5 game against the Miami Dolphins.
