Now you can bring your pup to Walt Disney World resorts
Walt Disney World Resorts recently announced that starting Oct. 15, dogs will be allowed to stay with their families at four Walt Disney World Resorts.
From Sunday on, guests staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be allowed to bring two furry friends per guest room along with them.
As Disney World is known as a place of fulfilment of dreams, several perks expect dog lovers coming to Disney Hotels. At check-in, guests with dogs will get “Pluto’s Welcome Kit,” which will include a mat, bowls, pet ID tags, dog walking maps and more.
A full spectrum of services for dogs will be offered on-site at Disney World while families are out at the parks, so it makes a fun-filled day for them too. They will also have an easy access to pet relief areas and green spaces.
If dog lovers choose not to pay for their pets to stay at the doggy day care, they can nevertheless be assured that their little friend will be safe since the welcome kit also offers a Pluto "Do Not Disturb" door hanger, which will let hotel staff know that a pet is in the room.
Some rules in change come with the privilege of letting your dog meet Pluto. All dogs must be well-behaved, leash-trained and properly vaccinated.
The guest fee will be an extra $50 per night to bring your pooch to Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and $75 a night to bring them at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
