The bear Actress Ayo Edebiri has once again made her ill-advised remarks about Jennifer Lopez during a podcast chat from her younger days.
The latest development follows Edebiri Hosting Saturday Night Live With musical guest Lopez. During a sketch, Edibiri made an apparent apology for talking about Lopez's talents. The statements resurfaced just before their split SNL Appearance, making an awkward situation.
“It's wrong to leave bad comments, post comments just for clout, or run your mouth on a podcast and not consider the clout because you're 24 and stupid!” Edebiri said in the graphic. “But I think I speak for everyone when I say, from now on, we're going to be more thoughtful about what we post online!”
Edebiri's latest comment came on this embarrassing situation SNL Instagram page of cast member Bowen Yang. Yang posted a clip from his and Matt Rogers' film Las Culturistas podcast, where Tina Fey brought up Edebiri's mistake during the recurring clip, “I don't think so, baby!”
Fey starts by telling Yang that he's too famous to give his actual opinions about movies on his podcast.
“Are you having trouble with… Saltburn? Quiet luxury. “Keep it to yourself,” Faye said. “Because what will you do when [Saltburn director] Emerald Fennell calls you about her next project in which she plays Carey Mulligan's colleague in the bridal department at Harrods, and then Act 3 takes a violently sexual turn, and you have to pretend to be surprised by this turn?… Learn from my mistakes, learn from IU. Podcasts are forever. “Originality is dangerous and expensive.”
“Learn from me,” Edebiri agreed in a comment below the clip.
As expected, this sparked a wave of comments on social media.
