The sources said the Grizzlies will send a 2025 second-round pick through the New Orleans Pelicans and second rounds in 2028 and 2029. Those second rounds give the Suns some picks to use in future trades, or to draft players themselves.

The Suns sent the Nets four unprotected first-round picks and swapped the 2028 pick in a Durant trade. Prior to this trade, the Suns had control of zero draft picks through 2030 – first or second round.

The cost to the Suns will be forward Isaiah Todd and selective first-round trades in 2024 and 2030, sources said. The Grizzlies will have the right in those years to trade their first set for first-round picks from the Suns/Washington Wizards, sources said. .

The Suns traded to the Wizards six future second-round draft picks and six first-round trades in the Beal trade.
