Russia is preparing for a military exercise with more than 50,000 soldiers

V.SThis week, more than 50,000 soldiers will take part in “Vostok 2022,” the Russian military’s military exercise in Eastern Siberia and the Russian Far East.



The exercise included 5,000 military weapons and equipment and 140 aircraft and 60 warships, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The exercise will begin on Thursday and last until next Wednesday at a training base in East Siberia, the Far East and the Sea of ​​Japan.

According to the ministry, the exercise, which will take place about six months after the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, is aimed at ensuring the security of Russia and its allies. Players from countries like Belarus, other former Soviet republics, China and India have already arrived at the training ground.





“Vostok” is one of Russia’s largest military exercises.
