It didn’t generate many headlines as there were two other headlines Survivor series Returns that were very big deals. But last month, former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and greatest WWE 24/7 48/7 7/11 I-95 Southern European titleholder of all time, R-Truth, returned to our screens.
Since her return, Truth has spent a lot of time trying to join Doomsday. In fact, in typical form of truth, he seemed to believe he was already a member of the stable of Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. He offered club safety advice, insisted on clearly needed television upgrades, and insisted on dealing with the member of the group that no one liked…Jackie D.
We love it. Unfortunately, the pastor revealed last week that he had not done so. At the very least, he didn’t like it when Truth pointed out that Ripley drives Doomsday, not Senor Money in the Bank. The beating was on – until The Creeds ran in to rescue him. All he wanted to do was decorate the club for the holidays…
Well, for each WWE.comit was all leading up to this: Truth vs. McDonagh in the Miracle on 34th Street fight raw Tonight (December 18).
In addition to being a holiday tradition, the Christmas-themed no disqualification match will be Truth’s first since suffering a torn quad from Grayson Waller on the November 1, 2022 episode of NXT.
It should be fun! Then maybe the truth will come out about the Royal Rumble… Unless Brock Lesnar is in it. Or him Fear of stairs is back.
