Modern Warfare 3 leaks suggest a classic mini-map, Ninja Perk, War Mode, and more

A series of new Modern Warfare 3 leaks have surfaced online following our report on the initial internal release of Modern Warfare 3.

According to a Twitter user @employeewhich appears to have obtained images for the Modern Warfare 3 alpha, it looks like Sledgehammer Games will fix the major issues players have been complaining about in Modern Warfare 2.

Specifically, Bob claims that both the classic mini-map and Ninja Perk will be returning. According to Pope, perks will return in the form of “gear”, with different combinations of gear being considered different perks. For example, one set of shoes might give you the “Ninja” perk, while another set might give you the “Marathon” perk.

In addition to the Ninja Perk and the classic mini-map, Bob has also claimed that the war mode from Call of Duty: WW2 will return.

Somewhat predictably, the game looks remarkably like Modern Warfare 2 in design. After all, the game was intended to be MW2 DLC for a while. It should be noted that we are still 5 months after release and all features mentioned are from the initial internal release of the game – so they are subject to change.

According to our own reports and leaked images, Modern Warfare 3 is set to feature classic maps from previous Call of Duty titles.

But so far, the changes seem like a warm welcome to Call of Duty players. Whether or not the changes are significant remains to be seen, but let us know in the comments what you think of the changes.
