Nintendo is putting the entire main 2D Metroid series in one place starting next week
Nintendo has announced that the next title to be added to the Game Boy Advance library on Nintendo Switch Online will be Nintendo Switch Online Metroid Fusion.
The title will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier next week, on March 9th.
The release will make the complete 2D Metroid main series available on Nintendo Switch, with metroid, Metroid 2: The Return of SamusAnd Super Metroid And now Metroid Fusion All included in the Nintendo Switch Online subscription in their original versions, plus the 2021 Switch exclusive fifth game in the chronology, Dread Metroid.
This is in addition to the last month Metroid Prime Remastereda slick re-release of the 2002 GameCube classic. As Nintendo looks all-in on the sci-fi adventures of bounty hunter Samus Aran — a series the company has shown an intermittent commitment to over the years — all eyes are now on the long-awaited Retro Studio Metroid Prime 4.
Nintendo added Game Boy and Game Boy Advance collections to Nintendo Switch Online last month, with a solid starter collection that included the original Game Boy tetris, two zelda (Awakening Link DX And Minich Cap)And Mario and Luigi: Superstar SagaAnd WarioWare, Inc.
after Metroid Fusionwe can expect Kirby and the Incredible Mirror, Fire Emblem, Top Speed F-Zero, And golden sun To be added to the GBA collection in the coming months. On the Game Boy, we’ll get it The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons And Oracle of Ages, The Pokémon Trading Card Game, And Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble.
