The iPhone’s rear camera system has been placed in the top-left corner of the device since the original 2007 model, so moving the cameras to the top middle of the device would be a noticeable change. Some popular Android smartphones have rear cameras placed at the top center, like Google’s Pixel 8 Pro.
The report said that the new iPhone 17 model will feature a “major redesign” similar to the iPhone With the report claiming that the device could have a higher price than the Pro Max model, which starts at $1,199, and perhaps it will end up being the “iPhone Ultra” that was rumored for a few years ago.
Here is everything the report said about the thinner iPhone 17:
- Between 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen (most likely 6.5-inch)
- “Significantly thinner” design with aluminum frame
