Major League Baseball Commenting one game for Chicago White Sox Tim Anderson shortstop after pointing his middle finger at a fan in Wednesday’s 11-1 loss to Cleveland Guardians.
Anderson, who struggled in the match with two fouls in the first two innings, flipped a finger on a fan while on the field. The league issued an undisclosed suspension and fine, but Anderson intends to appeal his suspension.

He said after Friday’s match via the New York Post. “There are a lot of people who really look up to me. I take full responsibility for what I did. But this is something I have to learn from and develop from.”
