The most expensive motorcycle in the world
Bucherer AG has unveiled a unique model of the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition. This customized model is the result of collaboration between the craftsmen of the Harley-Davidson Bündnerbike boutique, the Carl F. Bucherer watch company and the Bucherer Fine Jewelery company.
The bike was built in a private workshop Bündnerbike based on the model Softail Slim S. It took a year to develop the design, and then a team of eight people, having spent over 2.5 thousand hours, performed a miracle. Almost all parts are welded, ground and assembled by hand. In order to achieve a stunning rainbow-ultramarine color, the bike was first painted with silver, and then six layers of paint were applied.
To enhance the effect, some parts, such as the headlamp, valves, throttle flaps and handles, were covered with gold and encrusted with diamonds. The wheels are custom, the frame is welded seamlessly, the rotating camshaft is visible through a special window, the lights are heat-resistant LEDs, another LED light makes the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition the first motorcycle in the world, with a 100-hp engine lit from the inside.
In addition to the bike, there is a diamond ring weighing 5.40 carats and an exclusive Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec II watch model in a special version under a protected glass dome on the fuel tank.
Today, the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition is the most expensive motorcycle in the world: its value is 1.888 million Swiss francs. Together with the motorcycle, the buyer receives an exclusive Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec II watch model of a special version.
