Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks Announce Joint Show in Chicago at Soldier Field Summer 2024 – NBC Chicago

Live Nation announced Thursday that legendary musicians Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks will perform a “one night only” concert in Chicago at Soldier Field this summer.

The highly anticipated announcement was part of a mysterious “special concert announcement” held by Ticketmaster's parent company and Chicago Park District CEO and General Superintendent Rosa Escareño at Soldier Field on Thursday.

“These iconic musicians will perform their favorite songs from their illustrious careers,” a Live Nation press release said. “The amazing show promises to be an unforgettable evening of live music.”

According to officials, this is the first time the artists have shared a stage in Chicago.

Live Nation said the concert will take place on June 21, 2024. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public starting Friday, January 12 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales already underway via Citi and Verizon.

Live Nation said the show marks Joel's first time in Chicago since 2018 — the final year of his five-year “sellout streak at Wrigley Field.” Last year, Nicks, of Fleetwood Mac fame, sold out a show at the United Center.

The show comes after Chicago's epic 2023 concert season, which featured Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Blink 182 and more. Several major artists have also announced Chicago concerts for 2024, including Bad Bunny, The Eagles, Metallica and Zach Bryan.
