Embraer unveils new Phenom 300E
Embraer, the Brazilian jet manufacturer, has unveiled the Phenom 300E, a new and improved version of their highly successful Phenom 300, a light jet introduced back in 2008 with over 400 units built so far.
The Phenom 300 remained the bestselling private jet worldwide in terms of deliveries with a base price of $8.995 million due to its bridging the gap between the small and medium jet segments.
The E in Phenom 300E stands for enhanced, referring to the extra space that the new model has over the previous one, being 7.5cm wider and 2.5cm taller. Additional improvements also include new interior design options and upgraded avionics.
In particular, the Phenom 300E, which has a base price of $9,45 million, comes with broader seats with leg rests, retractable armrests and extendable headrests. These can be offered in different leathers and styles.
Embraer also partnered up with Lufthansa Technik, which integrated new technology to the cabin such as clever overhead and armrest control panels.
Starting deliveries in the first quarter of 2018, the Phenom 300E was unveiled during the NBAA in Las Vegas earlier this month.
With a range of 1,971 nautical miles, the aircraft will be able to comfortably seat between 6 and 10 passengers and reach a top speed of 963 km/h.
