Update (original story May 1 at 9:06pm): Night talk shows incl The Late Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Darkness is set to fall from Tuesday after writers agreed to go on strike.

The Daily Show He is set to welcome authors Vashti Harrison, Jason Reynolds, and former NFL All-Pro Brandon Marshall.

Seth Meyers, talk about in late Time of night This afternoon, he said, “I love writing. I love writing for TV. I love writing for this show. I love that we come up with an idea of what we want to do each day and we work on it all afternoon and then I’m glad to be here. Nobody gets A job in show business. But for those who have a job, they are entitled to fair compensation. They are entitled to earn a living. I think it is a very reasonable requirement to be determined by the union. And I support those demands.”

However, the rest of the staff is amazing, and I wouldn’t want to see anyone lose their jobs or lose their paychecks. What happy medium is there? Figuring that out, it wasn’t easy.”
One SNL The star told Deadline, “We have to think about our crew, too. I’m all for writers, and I want writers to get what they deserve and need, but I don’t want our crew to be out of work. We can’t make this art without each other.”
