Potential Intel 13th Gen Core Pricing in the UK
Intel’s next-generation desktop processors will be revealed next week, but they obviously won’t stop major retailers from listing the series early.
On Amazon UK it was possible to find a number of previously listed Raptor Lake processors. A total of four SKUs were discovered by a hardware leaker Tweet embed Who was quick to take a screenshot. These listings are no longer available.

According to this listing, the i9-13900KF (the flagship model without integrated graphics) costs £750. This SKU is the only one with 24 full cores (8P + 16E) listed so far. That’s about £150 higher than the i9-12900K at launch in the UK (according to UK reviews), but the i9-12900KF is currently priced at around £609. It’s worth noting that £750 is a similar price to the i9-12900KS (Special Edition with 5.5GHz clock) on the day of its launch.
Meanwhile, the i7-13700K is listed at £547 and its F variant at £517. Compared to the current price of the Alder Lake successor, we’re looking at a higher price tag of £120-137 (the i7-12700K costs around £410, while the i7-12700KF costs around £397). Finally, the 14-core SKU known as the i5-13600KF is listed at £350, again higher than the i7-12500KF currently available at £273.

There’s a good chance these won’t be the final prices for the 13th Gen Core series in the UK, but they’re just a placeholder. Moreover, the fact that a major retailer has started listing the new series early, may indicate that Intel will lift the pre-order ban very soon. Perhaps, right after the innovation event where the Raptor Lake series will be announced (September 27).

In case there is any doubt about the new thread’s encapsulation, momomo_us has also leaked the design for all three substrings. They look just like Alder Lake squares. It is worth noting that the main storage unit known as the i9-13900K will come with a small plastic chip inside (as shown earlier in this post).
