24 Hours of Le Mans | Begins

The minutes leading up to the official start of the race at 16:00 are reserved for an annual spectacular. Cars are placed on the grid, the French flag is brought in by helicopter, La Marseillaise The national anthem is sung in chorus by everyone present and Patrol de France The Air Force acrobatic team flies over the circle. The pressure starts to mount intensely for the drivers at this point. When the Race Director releases the 62 cars, the adrenaline is at an all-time high!

24 Hours of Le Mans | Heating

Earlier, between 12:00 and 12:15, teams will be given one last chance to hit the track during the warm-up to ensure their cars are ready to race. This is not the time for drivers to take any unnecessary risks. The short track time is ideal for finalizing the settings and adapting the cars to the weather conditions declared for the race.

Ferrari challenge

The Ferrari Challenge Europe and Ferrari Challenge North America competitors will hit the track in their Ferrari 488 Challenge EVOs just hours before the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 09:30 and 10:15.

Porsche Carrera Cup

The Porsche Carrera Cup allows young drivers to stand out on the international stage, and for amateurs to fulfill their racing passion. They will show off their driving skills in the race scheduled from 10:45 to 11:30.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary Show

The 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary will be open to the public every day of Race Week. The installation highlights 86 great cars: 65 winners and 21 cars that made history in 24 hours. Organized in collaboration with Peter Auto, the exhibition takes visitors through 100 years of history including the evolution of the circuit, the collection of records and the major events that have marked racing.

The 24 Hours Centenary celebrations will conclude with a nightly extravaganza that includes a stunning fireworks display and a show using 400 drones! Be sure to be in the Pop Art Concert Fan Area at 23:00 for the start of this unforgettable spectacle.
