You won’t be surprised to learn that Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, and GUNTHER delivered another buzzword of the night (Sunday, April 2, 2023) WrestleMania 39 It happened at SoFi Stadium in Englewood, California with the Intercontinental Championship on the line.
You also wouldn’t be surprised to learn that all three men’s chests were sliced, slapped, and whacked at least 457 times throughout the match. GUNther, known for his dissolving chops, ate a shocking amount, and his chest turned a deep red. McIntyre looked like he was putting some stink in every piece.

And it became clear in the middle of the match that the fans are in the arena in a bad manner Sheamus wanted to win the match and fulfill his dream of becoming an eventual Grand Slam champion. The buzz at the stadium each fall was something special.
But he came up short again.
After doing a lot of work, seemingly bringing McIntyre to the brink of defeat, Gunther came back into the picture and shot Sheamus to the top of McIntyre’s neck before delivering another one to McIntyre himself to get the pinfall and the victory.
