For the 76th year, NBA basketball is played on Christmas Day.
The second NBA Christmas show is a clash between the league's last two champions: the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets won their first NBA title in franchise history last season, and Nikola Jokic won Finals MVP honors in the effort. Warriors star Stephen Curry won his first Finals MVP award in 2022.
But things have changed since the announcement of this match. The Warriors are no longer the same team they were during their fourth dynasty title. Golden State will be without Draymond Green, one of the best defensive options in the league against Jokic. Of course, the Warriors still have Curry, who can never be ruled out.
This could still be a close matchup, as four of the eight matchups over the past three seasons have been decided by a single possession.

The Knicks do a great job of getting Dame to work in that bucket, and Hart does a good job of tracking down a double stagger, then working the top of the screen, then Quickley with a good switch to keep Dame off the 3-point line. Good effort did pay off this possession. pic.twitter.com/4i1TIRrQWC
