His exit comes amid reports that Arsenal are preparing to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya to provide competition for Ramsdale.
At Forest, who are preparing for their second season back in the Premier League, Turner should have a clearer path to the first team.
He said, “It feels great to be here. It’s something I’m really looking forward to, it’s a great challenge and a great step in my career.” Club website.

However, ESPN reports that the Midlands club is also close to signing Dean Henderson from Manchester United. Henderson, an England international, spent last season on loan at Forest, making 18 appearances in the Premier League.
Turner, 29, joined Arsenal from Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution last summer but has been unable to usurp Ramsdale as the club’s No. 1. Leaves.
Despite his lack of action at the club level, Turner cemented his status as first choice goaltender for the USMNT. In addition to starting all four matches as the United States reached the Round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup, Turner also appeared in both the CONCACAF Nations League and Gold Cup this summer.
