Two wounded in West Bank knife attack, attacker “neutralized” | Israel-Hamas war

Two people were lightly wounded Sunday in a stabbing attack by a “neutralized” Palestinian near an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, Israeli police and emergency services said.

The sources said the attack took place near Mishor Adomim, an industrial park in the large West Bank settlement of Male Adomim, east of Jerusalem. Its suspect was “neutralized,” police said, without specifying whether he was dead or injured.

Emergency services said they were treating two lightly wounded men, whom Israeli media identified as security guards, at the scene.

Violence in the occupied West Bank has escalated sharply since fighting between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip began on October 7. Since then, at least 317 Palestinians have been killed by soldiers, sometimes by Israeli settlers, according to the Palestinian Authority Health Ministry.
