Our first look at Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will arrive in the form of a trailer tomorrow morning, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have announced.

Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was announced almost a year ago, and promises to be an addition to FromSoftware's already massive RPG universe. The only official information we've received since then is a look at some suitably alarming concept art. The Dark Souls developer revealed in November 2023 that development of new content is “going smoothly” while players continue to wait patiently. However, tomorrow's trailer will give us our most substantial look at the new adventure yet.
In addition to the trailer news, Billbil-kun – who has a track record of spotting future announcements from online listings – noted that This year's Elden Ring and Collector's Editions are scheduled for release on June 21 They speculated that it might coincide with the DLC release date.
One way or another, tomorrow will be a busy day for gaming fans. Before we get a sneak peek at Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Nintendo will be launching a new Direct Edition focusing on some of its partners and the games it hopes to release in 2024. Meanwhile, the FromSoftware DLC still has no release date. But let's hope we hear a concrete schedule tomorrow.
Elden Ring was released on February 25, 2022, which means its second anniversary is on the horizon.
