“We will all miss you so much. It will take a long time for him to heal,” Fox wrote. “Bye, my friend. I love you.”

Fox added in another post: “Everything hurts right now I’m having a hard time looking at these pictures and reminiscing about us having a great time and we’re going to miss you man, we’re going to miss you.”

He continued: “Since we met again in college, I have been in such an incredible spirit, may God rest his soul, I never thought I would have to see words about my friend RIP @keith.jefferson Keith.”

Jefferson was a multi-talented actor, producer, voice-over artist, and acting coach. His work with Foxx dates back to 1998, when he appeared in two episodes of the sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show.

Jefferson is credited for roles in Quentin Tarantino’s 2012 film Django Unchainedwhich starred Foxx in the lead role, as well as a 2022 Foxx film Rosy day and the new movie, Burial.

Jefferson continued to work with Tarantino in roles in 2015 The Hateful Eight And 2019 Once upon a time in Hollywood.
