Susan SarandonHer anti-Semitic remarks cost her a role in a project and are the latest blow to her career after she attacked Jews.
The actress has been dropped from a short film she was scheduled to star in called “Slipping Away,” according to the co-founder of the production company that was putting the film together.
David Barroso From PTO Films says Page six … “As a company, PTO Films would like to make clear that Susan Sarandon’s views do not reflect the views of our organization. We were considering her for a short film, but due to her recent statements, we have decided to pursue other options.”
“Slipping Away” was listed as an upcoming title on Sarandon’s IMDb page, but it has now disappeared. There are 4 other future productions associated with it – three of which are in post-production and one is still in pre-production. It’s not clear if her roles in these roles have been affected yet.
Remember… Sarandon was attacked for speaking at a pro-Palestine rally in New York City recently, but it was precisely what she said that ended up costing her. The anti-Semitic comment in question was… “There are a lot of people afraid to be Jewish at this time, getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.”
