Russell Crowe opens up about wrestler The sequel that Ridley Scott has been working on will be released in November 2024. The actor, who won an Oscar for his role in the aforementioned film, isn’t partial to the follow-up and says he’s “a little jealous.”
“I mean, look, the only thing I really feel like being a little bit jealous, you know? Scott is directing the sequel which is set to star Paul Mescal, with David Scarpa writing the screenplay. Barry Keoghan is reportedly in talks on board for a sequel to the film.
In the follow-up, Mescal is set to play Lucius, son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen) and nephew of Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix).
