Polish president on Ukraine war: ‘Only zombies could have committed such atrocities’

Before leaving for Q, the four heads of state met on Tuesday evening in Rzeszow, in southeastern Poland, near the Ukrainian border, for a special summit aimed at expressing solidarity with Ukraine.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has said he planned to travel to Ukraine with four heads of state but was rejected by the Ukrainian government.

Mr. Zelensky said on Wednesday that he had not received an “official” request for the visit from Berlin and that he “really wanted to be among our supporters, among true friends.”
