delta force is a series of military first-person shooter games that began in 1998 and made its way to PlayStation with the PS1 game Urban Warfare (the fifth game in the franchise). Creator NovaLogic shut down back in 2016, and its assets were acquired by THQ Nordic, which in turn was swallowed up by Embracer Group. Now, a previous Gamescom teaser revealed that the series will live again and is set to be revealed in full at Gamescom’s opening night.
Producer Shadow Joe spoke to IGN He said the game’s campaign will follow Ridley Scott’s war classic, Black Hawk Down. Additionally, Delta Force will support massively multiplayer PvP, featuring combat on land, sea, and air. Guo explained what was on offer, saying:

This dedicated research has enabled us to recreate a truly authentic and immersive gaming experience that captures the essence of this massive event. Participatory methods and maps that incorporate diverse terrain features such as vertical elevation differences and caverns, as well as different vehicle paths.”
