Jeremy Renner is making great strides – quite literally – in his recovery from a snowfall accident on New Year’s Day.
On Sunday, nearly three months after the Marvel star, 52, was crushed by a snowplow while trying to stop him hitting his nephew, Renner posted footage of him taking steps on an anti-gravity treadmill as part of his physical therapy. As he can be seen explaining to another man in the video, the equipment enables him to feel “less weighted” so he can feel supported while walking.
“It’s like having a cane,” he says in the video, and estimates he only feels “40% of my weight” thanks to the treadmill. This equipment uses anti-gravity technology for walking, running, and other weight-supported movements to help rehabilitation clients recover from injury or surgery, or build strength and endurance while managing a chronic health condition.
