“It is very exciting to be here to host the first and best show yet in 2024,” Al-Wardi said during his monologue.
Elordi reminded viewers that he is most famous right now for his role as Felix Catton in Emerald Fennell. Saltburn But “not from watching the movie, just from watching TikTok.”
A scene from the film features Oliver Quick, played by Barry Keoghan, naked on top of Felix's grave, and Elordi adds: “Yes, I was the one in the grave.”

Alwardi said he wasn't “much of a public speaker” and opened the door to questions from the audience, which included praise for his work on Priscilla Where Elvis and his admirers want a moment to stare at him.
At the end of the questions, Elordi took some time to express how grateful he was to host the animated show on NBC.
“Before we get started, I just want to take a moment to say how grateful I am to be here,” he said. “I've been acting now for about seven years and it's very easy to get caught up in the rush of trying to get to the next thing and the next thing.”
He continued: “But tonight, the people I love are here. You are all here, and because of you I am here. Thank you very much.”
