Mr Berlusconi is “currently in intensive care for a lung infection”. The infection was “part of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia, which he had been suffering from for some time,” they said in a statement.
Silvio Berlusconi has recently increased his hospital stay, the previous one last week, officially for tests.
