Ukraine says it has retaken about 3,000 square kilometers of territory since early September, mainly in the Kharkiv region.

LOn Monday morning, the Ukrainian military announced that it had captured “more than 20 areas” in 24 hours as part of its counteroffensive against the Russian military.
“The liberation of local governments from Russian invaders continues in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions” (East), the army said in its morning statement. On the entire front line, he added, “Ukrainian forces succeeded in repelling the enemy from more than 20 locations in 24 hours.” “As they retreat, Russian troops are hastily abandoning their positions and fleeing,” the army further assured in its statement.
