Hayley Williams turns down local country honors for supporting Allison Russell – The Hollywood Reporter

Following Paramore's first two Grammy wins, Tennessee Democratic State Representative Justin Jones proposed a resolution to honor the Hayley Williams-fronted group alongside first-time Grammy Award winner Allison Russell.

However, while the state House of Representatives unanimously approved Parramore's resolution, House Republican Caucus Chairman Jeremy Faison objected to Russell's resolution and sent it back to committee.
