Per Marvel.com“Marvel Spotlight gives us a platform to bring more character-centric stories to the screen and, in the case of Echo, focus on street-level stakes across the greater MCU continuity,” said Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios President of Broadcast, during the presentation.
“Just like comic book fans didn’t need to read Avengers or The Fantastic Four To enjoy a Ghost rider “Comedy Spotlight, our audience doesn’t need to watch other Marvel series to understand what’s happening in Maya’s story,” he added.
