Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua return to work together in the saga Hannibal Drama for Netflix.
Fuqua will direct the film based on a screenplay by John Logan, and Washington will also produce it. There’s no word on Washington’s role in the film based on the real-life warrior Hannibal, but expect plenty of characters atop elephants crossing the Alps.
Washington and Fuqua already had outings in 2001 Training day2014 Eq And 2018 Equator 2.
Hannibal is considered a historical figure and one of the greatest military leaders in history. The Netflix film will cover the pivotal battles against the Roman Republic during the Second Punic War between the two great empires of Rome and Carthage.
the Hannibal The project is part of Fuqua’s Hill District Media first-look partnership with Netflix. Washington collaborated for the first time with a Hollywood director on his first feature film, Alternative killers In 1988.

Also produced Hannibal Fuqua, Eric Olsen and Adam Goldorum, while Jeremy Lott and Frank Moll will executive produce.
