Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua return to work together in the saga Hannibal Drama for Netflix.
Fuqua will direct the film based on a screenplay by John Logan, and Washington will also produce it. There’s no word on Washington’s role in the film based on the real-life warrior Hannibal, but expect plenty of characters atop elephants crossing the Alps.

Hannibal is considered a historical figure and one of the greatest military leaders in history. The Netflix film will cover the pivotal battles against the Roman Republic during the Second Punic War between the two great empires of Rome and Carthage.
