Mamie Lavrock, a 19-year-old actress who works for Hallmark’s When the heart callswas on life support after falling from a five-story hallway while receiving medical care at a Vancouver hospital.
according to GoFundMe page Released by her family, her mother, Nicole Compton Lavrock, was taken to a Winnipeg hospital on May 11 after what was described as a “medical emergency.” But an update from Lavrock’s family on May 26 indicates that she fell from a balcony walkway at a Vancouver hospital after being transferred there as part of her recovery.
“Mamie, who had been undergoing intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure hospital unit and taken to a balcony walkway where she fell five stories. She sustained life-threatening injuries, underwent several extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.” According to the family’s fundraising campaign page.
“We are all devastated and devastated at this extremely difficult time,” Lavrock’s parents, Rob and Nicole, added in their update. The tragic setback in Laverock’s care and his recovery in the hospital sparked a wave of concern for Hallmark and his co-stars on the series.
