Arsenal vs Chelsea live: Premier League results and goals updates with Leandro Trossard fired in the opener

Minute 39: Enzo Fernandez crosses into the penalty area from the right side. Connor Gallagher sneaks in behind the defenders and almost shoots the ball into the goal.

David Raya comes off his line quickly and picks up the ball before Gallagher can get to it.

Minute 36: From a short corner kick, Martin Odegaard sent the ball to Bukayo Saka. He kicks the ball forward and then kicks it over the crossbar.

Minute 33: Kai Havertz sends a cross from the left wing and Bukayo Saka almost shoots it. Mark Cucurella beats the Arsenal striker in the air and wins a free-kick for Chelsea.

30 minutes: Half an hour ago in the Emirates. Arsenal were the more aggressive team but Chelsea showed some resistance in the last few minutes.

If they score this goal, they will become more energetic.

27 minutes: Save! Petrovic made up for his lackluster attempt to keep out Trossard's goal by denying Arsenal a second goal.

The goalkeeper made a wonderful save to keep out a cross from Havertz that hit a defender at the last minute. It looks certain to go down in the corner but Petrovic overtakes him and clears him.

25 minutes: Oh my God! This is brilliant from Martin Odegaard as he tricks three defenders with his brilliant footwork before curling a thrilling pass into the six-yard box. Bukayo Saka made a mistake in passing the ball, but it reached Ben White.

He passes it to Thomas Partey whose first shot is blocked and cleared.

Woodwork! Nicholas Jackson controls the ball and confronts William Saliba. He flies into the penalty area and hits the near post with his effort.

22 minutes: Close! Arsenal is a different class. Declan Rice clips the ball from Enzo Fernandes deep into Chelsea's half. He checks to the right and smokes one into the net.

The effort is good but the ball keeps rising and flying over the top.

Minute 19: An incorrect pass to David Raya from Bukayo Saka leads to a corner kick. Mykhailo Modric is the man tasked with sending it into the penalty area.

A cross was passed and Axel Disasi missed the ball and shot it at the far post! That was close.

Minute 16: Ben White wins a corner from Mark Cucurella. It's the first play of the match and Bukayo Saka kicks the ball into the penalty area.

Saka's cross was headed over by Benoit Badichele but the ball was turned back for another set-piece.

This ball was passed before reaching Martin Odegaard, who sent a cross to the far post. Takehiro Tomiyasu arrives from deep and nods with a high, wide effort.

13 minutes: Noni Madueke drives the ball forward for Chelsea and launches Nicholas Jackson into the final third. The Blues bring the ball into Arsenal's half for long periods of time but don't do anything with it.

Instead, it is up to Badiashelli, who gives it up under pressure from Martin Odegaard. Chelsea cannot waste time on the ball.
