New themed stays are coming to Airbnb with Icons, a new category of accommodations featuring unique experiences inspired by major icons in music, film, television, art, sports and more.

With Icons, we have created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.
Icons will be displayed in their own category on the Airbnb website. Most icons will be free or priced at less than $100 per guest, but you can't reserve them like a regular Airbnb. There will be a countdown display until the time each icon appears, and guests can request a reservation through the app. Lucky guests selected will receive a digital Golden Ticket, and there will be more than 4,000 tickets available in 2024.
