A man may have tried to break into Taylor Swift's house in New York

Taylor Swift's New York City home appears to have been the target of another attempted break-in, this time by a man who was arrested Saturday near the singer's home in Tribeca while police responded to a report of a disorderly person.

Eyewitnesses said that the man tried to enter the star's house in the early afternoon, but failed. Page Six reported.

Police did not confirm the attempted break-in at Swift's home, but officers arrested a man on the same street when they were told he tried to open a building door, an NYPD spokesman said Sunday. The man was charged on an unrelated arrest warrant issued in 2017 allegedly out of Brooklyn The spokesman said that there was no response to the summons.

The authorities did not reveal the man's name. It was not clear if Swift was home at the time.

Shortly after, Swift was spotted in Buffalo on Sunday at Highmark Stadium. Wearing a beige jacket with a Chiefs logo and a red hat, the singer came out to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. for every New York PostSwift was greeted with cheers and boos from Bell's fans.

Swift was accompanied by Travis' brother Jason Kelce, who was seen shirtless with a beer in hand.

The Tribeca townhouse has been the scene of numerous break-ins and other attempts when Swift wasn't around, including some alleged stalkers.

In 2022, a man was charged with trespassing and stalking after authorities said he entered two Tribeca residences linked to Swift. Also that year, a man was arrested for ramming his car into the house, reportedly telling police he wouldn't leave until he met Swift.

In 2018, another man broke into her home and took a nap, police said. The same man was accused a year later of another break-in at the same place building after serving a prison sentence.

Police say the alleged stalkers were also arrested at some of Swift's other homes, including homes in Beverly Hills, California, and Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

Representatives for Swift did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.
