Million dollars Huge millions A ticket was purchased in New Jersey for Friday's lottery drawing as the winning jackpot continues to rise, officials said.

New Jersey Lottery officials did not reveal on Saturday where the lucky ticket was sold. It matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball and was one of four second prize tickets nationwide. Winners were also announced in Illinois, Michigan and South Carolina.

Friday numbers were: 1, 9, 16, 17 and 30. The Mega Ball was 17 with the Megaplier 2X.

No one across the country won Friday's $236 million jackpot, which had a $111.3 million cash option. When no one wins the jackpot, the money is added to the next drawing.

The odds of getting a $2 ticket that matches all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of getting a ticket that matches five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays in 45 states, in addition to Washington, D.C., and the US Virgin Islands.

Saturday Arsenal The jackpot is valued at $120 million with a cash option of $59.4 million.
