We’re in the middle of the second round of this year’s NCAA Tournament and after eight more games, we have eight more games on Sunday as a return to what was a fun-filled, action-packed Saturday. With eight Sweet 16 berths on the line, the stakes continue to rise as the arc begins to taper off before the second weekend.
BUSINESS TIPS Sunday afternoon Live with the No. 4 Illinois and No. 5 Illinois seeded ones kicking off the first of three games in the Southern District. The afternoon continues with No. 2 seed Villanova and No. 7 Ohio State seed. After both teams treated work as an advantage with two double-digit wins in the first round, the two teams, finally on the cusp of full health, are a fun afternoon window factor.
In the evening, when things really escalated first with a 5:15 p.m. tip between blue-blooded No. 2 seed Duke and Michigan State No. 7 seed led by two Hall of Famers Mike Krzyzewski and Tom Izzo, respectively. Izzo is 3-12 all-time against Coach K and the Spartans has 6.5 points. But Coach K in his final season has seen his Blue Devils perform inconsistently in the past month’s times, and they’re pretty much in jeopardy even as one of the best teams in the Western Region. Also on the agenda are seed No. 3 Wisconsin, seed No. 2 Auburn, seed No. 3 Purdue and seed No. 1 Arizona, all as the first week of action approaches.
