(CNN) Manchester United And Wrexham They announced that they would face each other in a friendly match later this year – with the help of a surprise sports crossover.

The friendly will be part of United’s pre-season tour, marking the first time in five years that the club has visited the United States, while it will be the first time Wrexham have played in the United States in the club’s history.
