Veteran Philadelphia broadcaster Howard Eskin has been banned from Citizens Bank Park after making unwanted advances.

Longtime Philadelphia sportscaster Howard Eskin has been banned from Citizens Bank Park for the rest of the Philadelphia Phillies’ season after an investigation found Eskin made unwanted advances toward a woman who works for Aramark.

The employee alleged that Eskin, 73, gave her an unwanted kiss on the field in May, prompting the investigation, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, which first reported the news and details of Eskin’s suspension.

Aramark, which provides food services at the stadium, confirmed in a statement Tuesday that one of its employees “was subjected to an unwanted kiss by an Audacity employee” and immediately launched an investigation into the allegations. Aramark also said it worked with Audacity and Philadelphia to take steps to protect all Aramark employees at the stadium.

A spokesman for Audacity, which owns WIP-FM, where Eskin hosts a weekly radio show, confirmed the “unwanted kiss” and said the company “immediately investigated and took action to address the matter.”

“Philadelphia takes these allegations seriously,” the team said in a statement. “We have cooperated with our partners at Audacity and Aramark in their investigation. We support Audacity’s decision to suspend Howard Eskin from playing at Citizens Bank Park.”

According to the Enquirer, Eskin will remain on the air. He did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The athleteRequest comment.

Seen as a controversial figure due to his outspoken personality, Eskin has been a staple of sports media in the Philadelphia area for decades, joining WIP in 1986 when the station switched to a full-time sports radio format. He has hosted more than 8,000 sports radio shows, most notably with WIP, where he also serves as a reporter for Philadelphia Eagles broadcasts.

Eskin has continued to work at WIP since the accident, and regularly hosts his radio show on Saturdays.
