Dramatic footage has emerged of Travis Scott being led out of a five-star hotel in Paris in handcuffs after being arrested over an altercation with his bodyguard.
The video begins with the 33-year-old rapper, Syco Mode, being dragged by three police officers through the lobby of the Four Seasons George V hotel before being forcefully led into a waiting police car with his hands cuffed behind his back.
Scott did not say a word to the rioters and photographers who tried to ask him what happened as the officers pushed him into the back seat of the car and fastened his seat belt.
The video ends with the “Highest in the Room” singer climbing into a pickup truck with his hands free from handcuffs.
As Page Six exclusively reported Friday morning, Scott yelled at his security guard at the famous hotel.
The brawl broke out after they got into an argument over local photographers – with one of the photographers allegedly getting into the boot of his car.
Scott then allegedly confronted his guard and asked why he had allowed the photographer into the trunk of the car, and an argument ensued.
“They were shouting at each other, which caused the hotel to panic and call the police,” a source familiar with the incident said.
Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office He said in a statement to NBC“I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V Hotel and arrested rapper Travis Scott on charges of assaulting a security guard.”
The statement continued, “The security guard intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard, and the Paris Public Prosecution referred the case to the first district of the judicial police.”
Scott was staying at the George V Hotel while attending the Olympic Games in Paris.
“We are in direct contact with local Parisian authorities to resolve this matter quickly and will provide updates when appropriate,” Scott’s rep told Page Six.
