The world's largest aircraft Airlander 10 will be available for luxury tourism
The world's largest aircraft, the Airlander 10, is a hybrid airship with aircraft and aerostat characteristics developed by the British company Hybrid Air Vehicles for the US Army. Originally intended for observation and reconnaissance, however, over time, thanks to the size and smoothness of the flight, it was proposed for operation in the luxury tourism segment.
Airlander 10 can carry cargo weighing up to 10,000 kilograms and stay in the air for five days, in addition, it does not require a runway, so the airship is expected to be used to organize tourist expeditions to various exotic destinations, which are hard enough to reach. The British company Henry Cookson Adventures will be the first to start using Airlander 10 to transport tourists.
British design company Design Q, which has a portfolio of interior projects for luxurious business jets, presented a luxurious cabin for the Airlander 10 with panoramic windows, full bedrooms, bathrooms and a lounge bar. In the proposed version, the airship can carry 19 people for 3 days.
Airlander 10 can take off and land on virtually any flat surface, eliminating the need for traditional airport infrastructure. This opens up opportunities for luxury expeditions with high comfort, in places that can not get the existing transport.
