Early Team News

Spain coach Luis de la Fuente, whose team is free of suspensions or injuries, is expected to field a line-up similar to the one that came from behind to beat Georgia in their last match, although it would not be surprising to see Dani Olmo or Mikel Merino come into midfield in place of Pedri.

Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann now faces a dilemma with Jonathan Tah back from suspension. He will have to decide whether to bring back his first-choice centre-back at the expense of Nico Schlotterbeck, who has been excellent in the Bayer Leverkusen man’s absence. Florian Wirtz was also on the bench in the win over Denmark and could return this evening at the expense of Leroy Sane.
