the Packers The No. 1 defense kept Lamar Jackson in check and kicker Justin Tucker missed a 61-yard field goal to tie the score during the two-minute drill.

The pressure the Packers put on Jackson made the difference.

Kenny Clark appeared to have Jackson down on the first play, and the Ravens knocked the ball down and scored throughout the rest of the game until Lucas Van Ness chased Jackson out of the pocket and earned a holding penalty.

Van Ness’ play came with 3 seconds left and forced the opposing team to attempt a long field goal.

Tucker, who holds the record for the longest field goal in NFL history at 66 yards, was short on the kick.

It was a good two-minute workout from Jordan Love. He completed 3 of 6 passes for 53 yards, putting the Packers in position to score the tying touchdown.

During the attack, Love dropped a dime ball to Dontayvion Weeks in the end zone on third-and-14 from the 17-yard line, but Weeks was unable to hold on for the touchdown.

Jordan Love hits Jayden Reed for 33 yards over the middle of the field on a “move the ball” drill. That would have been a 38-yarder on the play. The pass was a bit inaccurate, but Reed made a good adjustment to catch it.

During this campaign, Love completed 3 of 5 passes for 69 yards.

Baltimore’s Justin Tucker, arguably the league’s best player, made 4-of-5 shots from the south end.

Tucker’s only missed shot was a 38-yarder that went wide left. His 53-yarder nearly went over the net that prevents balls from passing through the goalposts.

In the red zone, Jordan Love completed 6-of-7 passes for 42 yards and four touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line.

The declines include:

  • 9 yard pass to Tucker Craft (YAC Awesome)
  • 6 yards to Romeo Dobbs
  • 4 yard route to Christian Watson
  • 3 yard road to dobbs

— Ryan Wood

Packers’ Christian Watson just won the ball in the end zone over Ravens’ Kyle Hamilton.

This period has been much better for the Packers offense.

The defense is having a good day rushing the ball.

Rashan Gary and Kingsley Inagbari beat rookie Roger Rosengarten in eliminations. Preston Smith and Gary also could have eliminated quarterback Lamar Jackson in at least one more game if they had been allowed to.

Lucas Van Ness also had what could have been a sack.

Baltimore suffered from several false starts that affected the distance, and when Jackson had time, he was able to complete a number of passes against the secondary defense.

Jordan Love’s numbers over the team’s first three periods, split between first/second and third attempts: 6-12, 52 yards, INT.

It was a slow start against the Ravens defense.

Packers receiver Malik Heath beats rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins on a pass route along the right sideline, and Sean Clifford makes no mistake.

The backup quarterback dropped the ball over Heath’s shoulder for about 45 yards. Clifford, still struggling for second place behind Jordan Love, needed the throw.

Meanwhile, Michael Pratt hits Grant DuBose for about 25 points on an illegal attempt. Clifford and Pratt know it’s time to make a show and shine.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love tried to hit Jayden Reed at halfback, and Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith cut the ball over the top.

It was a great play from Smith, one of the best players in the NFL. The 27-year-old stepped up and got the ball. It was a slow start for the Packers’ offense.

Smith, 27, has been a first-team regular for the past two seasons.

The Ravens had some great scoring against the Packers defense. Derrick Henry was able to get through the secondary for one goal.

Henry, 30, spent his first eight years with the Tennessee Titans. He is a former All-Pro and two-time NFL All-Star (2019, 2020).

The Ravens joined the Packers in a team tradition of riding kids’ bikes to training camp.

But quarterback Lamar Jackson might be thinking again.

As he was shaking hands with the crowd, he briefly lost control of the bike before putting his hands back on the handlebars and taking off.

Disaster averted.

Ravens fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

AJ Dillon continues to be sidelined as he recovers from an injury sustained in joint practice last week with the Broncos.

Head coach Matt LaFleur said he is now undergoing further testing.

Dillon also suffered a neck injury last season during a Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 31, 2023. He said this injury is different than the one he suffered last year.

Dillon re-signed with the team in the offseason. He was looking to establish himself as a backup player in training camp.

Now, with his injury, as well as rookie Marshawn Lloyd out for a significant amount of time with injuries, Emmanuel Wilson has the inside track to back up Josh Jacobs at quarterback.
